Welcome to our BOBCAT Family!

Who comes here?
Although we welcome all students, our primary feeder schools include Highland Elementary, Sierra Vista Elementary, Norco Elementary, and Riverview Elementary. We also accept anyone who is ready to sport Norco Blue and fills out a CNUSD Transfer Request by the January deadline PRIOR to the school year for which they want to begin at NIS.

What high school do we feed into?

All Bobcats attend Norco High School, which is located only 1/2-mile south on Temescal Avenue (unless a school choice transfer is completed by January of the 8th grade year, and approved for attendance to another high school.)

What is there to do here?

In addition to regular lunch-time activities and spirit days, we also have many clubs, events, and activities for you to be involved! Listen to morning announcements, get your parents to "like" us on Facebook, and be sure that your family receives our emails and texts through School Messenger to get the most information in the fasted way!

How big is the school?

Our school currently has a little more than 800 students attending, which is one of the smaller intermediate/middle schools in the district.  We have 38 highly qualified and enthusiastic teachers.

Three-Way Pledge

There is an adage saying that says "it takes a village to raise a child." We believe that a student's success is based on the cooperation of all three parties - the students, the parents, and the school.
