Progressive Discipline
Regretfully our Bobcats occasionally stray from the CATS expectations that are in place to provide a productive, safe, and respectful environment for all. When that happens, we do our best to influence a change in behavior. Select the tabs to the left to get a look at what progressive discipline can look like at NIS.
All discipline, with exception to ACP and Suspension is entered into the student's planner by a staff member who either issued the citation (caught the student breaking the rules) or who issued the disciplinary action (the consequence). Should you have a question, please contact the staff member who was directly involved (refer to who signed the planner or simply ask your son/daughter).
