Mission
The Norco Intermediate Counseling Program will provide equitable opportunities for students to develop the necessary skills needed to lead productive lives in a diverse global community. The goal is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and a developmentally appropriate program which will address the academic and social needs of all of our unique and diverse learners within our community. These goals will be accomplished through academic and social engagement with students, staff, and parents to create and inspire life-long learners. We are also committed to providing students with the appropriate tools and skills to understand the academic skills needed to pursue post secondary opportunities.
Vision
At Norco Intermediate, the Counselors will empower all students to reach their maximum potential by using a comprehensive program that addresses academic, personal/social, and career goals. We will work with our staff to promote an environment to encourage personal inquiry and growth, social responsibility, and academic excellence to produce knowledgeable and successful members of society. Our goal is to provide support and services which our students will be able to utilize in college and their future careers. School counselors will encourage and motivate students to thrive in a culturally diverse world.
