After-School Detention
Detention is held twice per week and starts 2 minutes after dismissal at 2:10 pm. Students may be assigned a 30 minute detention, ending at 2:40 or a full hour (by serving both Tuesday and Thursday of that week.) Students removed for disruptive behavior before detention ends are counted as No Shows. A No Show results in a doubling of the detention or a Saturday School. Detentions are written in the planner by the assigning staff member. If you aren't sure why your child has received detention, please ask your child first, then contact the staff member who assigned the detention for any details in question.
